Domains Dashboard

Log in to your Net2Secure Control Panel and navigate to the Domains section. Here you'll see a listing of all domains associated with your account:

• Connected domains: Domains that point to a hosting plan or site.

• Parked domains: Domains without active hosting visitors see a default parking page.

• Click any domain to view detailed settings, DNS records, contact information, auto‑renewal status, nameservers, and billing.

Domain Setup Steps in Net2Secure

1. Register or Transfer a Domain

• Register a new domain: Easily search available TLDs (.com, .in, .org, and many more) via Net2Secure's domain registration tool.

• Transfer an existing domain: If you own a domain elsewhere, unlock it, fetch its EPP/auth code, and initiate the transfer in your Net2Secure dashboard.

2. Configure DNS & Point to a Website

Once registered or transferred:

• Go into DNS Management for that domain.

• Add/edit records like A, CNAME, MX, TXT, and AAAA to connect your domain to your web hosting or external services.

• Point domain to hosting: If using Net2Secure hosting, set the domain’s nameservers (provided upon hosting setup) under the nameserver tab.

3. Verify and Test

• After DNS propagation (usually a few hours), browse to the domain to confirm it loads your website or hosting.

• If issues arise, revisit DNS settings to ensure accurate entries, the hosted IP address, and the nameserver details.

4. Set Primary or Forward

• Designate a primary domain for a project or hosting package within the control panel.

• Set up forwarding: Redirect domains to your main site (e.g. redirect .in to .com) using the URL Redirect settings in the DNS section.

• Group domains by purpose, e.g. marketing, branding, or backup.

• Manage renewal and billing preferences centrally.

• Enable auto-renew to avoid expiration lapses.

Moving Domains Between Hosting Projects or Accounts

If you need to switch a domain to a different hosting account or logic group:

• Use Move Domain options in the domain action menu.
